Larry began building model wooden ships while working away from home in Toronto, Canada in 1998.  His love of sailing combined with his artistry and woodworking skills led to a love of model ship building.  He has built around eight ships, all based on kits developed from historic ships.  They are hand planked and rigged.  He enjoys building now in his backyard woodshop and studio.
